PREAMBLE

THIS IS A VOLUNTARY COMMUNITY - IT IS NOT RELATED TO THE GB STUDIO BRAND.

WE VALUE GOOD CONTENT, WE VALUE ANY PERSON, AND WE TREAT EACH OTHER WELL AND RESPECT THE POINT OF VIEWS, LIFESTYLES, AND ORIENTATION OF ANY USER ON OUR PLATFORM. ALL USERS MUST RESPECT ANY OTHER USER.
POLITICAL DISCUSSIONS ARE NOT WELCOMED ON GB STUDIO PARADISE.
WE WILL NOT ENGAGE IN ANY POLITICAL DISCUSSION.
WE VALUE AND RESPECT PEOPLE - THEREFOR WE DON'T ACCEPT ANY RACIST, SEXIST, DEVALUING BEHAVIOUR. WE VALUE THE NETIQUETTE.

LOCATION OF JURISDICTION IS GERMANY.
THE PLATFORM IS BOUND TO FEDERAL GERMAN LAW AND WILL ENFORCE ITS EXECUTION.
ANY VIOLATION OF FEDERAL GERMAN LAW WILL RESULT IN AN IMMEDIATE LOCKOUT / DELETION OF CONTENTS FROM THE GIVEN PLATFORM.


§1 The rules apply to all users of GB Studio Paradise (also referred to as GBS Paradise). All Users, Moderators, and Administrators are bound to the rules and must follow those. Violation against the rules will be avenged.
All rules mentioned herein apply to the whole GB Studio Paradise Platform.

§1.1 Changes
Any change of given rules will be communicated in the Board Rules Thread, where the rules are publicated initially. Any user is subject to inform themselves about changes to rules.

§1.2 Avenging Violation of Rules
A) A violation of any given rule, policy, or code of conduct will result in a change, edit, deletion of any topic or posting, private message (if reported) OR will result in warning, modification, or deletion of given User Account. - This rules does apply to all forms of communication, public display, or exchanged data, or if reported contents.
B) A violation of any given rule will be communicated to given user.
C) Violating rules more than three times will result in a permanent banning from given platform (GBS Paradise / GB Studio Paradise).
D) Banned / Locked Accounts will only be reactivated with approval of any Administrator.

§1.3 Avenging Violation of Rules outside of GB Studio Paradise
A) Any User is bound to the rules of common sense, and well behaviour even outside of the GB Studio Paradise Ecosystem. Any Violation of the Platform Rules outside of the GB Studio Paradise Platform can lead to a warning agains a user. All violations will be treated equally outside of GB Studio Paradise and can ultimatively lead to a permament ban or deletion from given Platform.

§2 Account creation and registration - any natural person is eligible to create an account on GBS-Paradise and register as a User.

§2.1 Account Creation and Registration
A) Any natural person is eligible to create and register an account.
B) The creation, registration, and usage of GBS-Paradise is FREE OF CHARGE.
C) Any user is bound to the rules.
D) The Account Name should be humanreadable and not include any special symbols.
E) The Account Name, or Display Name must not violate any other rule, and must not contain any offensive or illegal content. It is upto the Moderators and Administrators to avenge any violation at any given time. Also, the Moderators and Administrators take the right to change any Account Information without further notice to comply with the Board Rules and Code of Conduct.
F) Any user should not have more than one Account. Exceptions apply to Administrators or Legal Entities. Any Account in addition to a natural person that is already registred will be immediately deleted without further notice.
G) It is prohibited to use any one-off (disposable) email addresses.

§2.2 Inactive Accounts will be deactivated after ONE YEAR. Deactivated Accounts will be deleted after TWO YEARS.
A) A Users Account will be deleted if the registration was not successful, after ONE WEEK.
B) All Account deletions are respective to the Administrators or Legal Entities.
C) Accounts that violate any rule are eligible to be permanentely deleted, without further notice.

§2.3 All rules apply to Account signatures, Profile information indentical to any other mentioned rule herein.


§3 Content Creation and Posting of Topics / Threads

§3.1 Content Creation, Maintenance, Editing, Updating and Posting of Topics / Threads is bound to German Federal Law. Any violation of German Federal Law is prohibited. Any Content that violates the Board Rules, Code of Conduct, or German Federal Law will be permanentely deleted, without further notice. Any content that imposes risks to law compliancy, technical appliances, people will be deleted. It is prohibited to post any sexual explicit, pornographic, violent, violence-glorifying, drug abusing content. (Drug-Abusing-Glorifying Content that complies with the §5.3 German Federal Constitution - Kunstfreiheit - Freedom of the Arts - must be tolerated).

§3.2 We respect each other and are friendly! We respect the Netiquette at any conversation, posting, content being posted.
A) Any insult against anything or anybody will result in a warning.
B) Any offensive action against a Users ethnics, sexuality, identification, race will result in a warning - or even deletion of content, posting, account. A VIOLATION OF GERMAN FEDERAL LAW WILL BE FORWARDED TO GERMAN FEDERAL LAW ENFORCEMENT ENTITIES.
C) Any User must report and notify a Moderator or the Administrator of the Platform immediately when observing a violation of given rules. (WE PROTECT WHISTLE BLOWERS - EU-Guideline 2019/1937)

§3.3 Any Content, Posting, or Thread must be reasonable. (Herein referred as posting).
Before posting any content make sure you have utilised the forum search and that your topic, or posting is unique.
A) Any posting must have a reasonable title, and description.
B) Do not insist on any urgency. This is a voluntary community.
C) Any content in any posting is bound to the technical restriction of generating content you will be opposed to at any time.
D) Avoid captial case exclamations.
E) Avoid the red text color - red text color must only be used by Moderators and Administrators to highlight any posting modification.
F) Avoid full quotes of any posting next to yours.
G) Duplicate posts will be merged, archived, or deleted.

§3.4 Avoid posting advertising content.
Advertising content related to GB Studio can be published Off Topic. Advertisement related to Creative Content, Games, Assets you have created can be published in any related Showroom Category.
Unrelated Advertising is prohibited.

§3.5 Subforums, Topics, certain Postings may apply additional ruling that will be highlighted individual from the general rules.

§3.6 Posting, discussion, and content language is English.

§3.7 Posting ROMs or other formats of binary representation of copyrighted material is prohibited.


§4 GBS Paradise (the Platform) or the owner takes any responsibility for mishandled information on the platform. Users / Members are responsible for their actions.
